UCD Sutherland School of Law launches Masters scholarship in honour of Declan McCourt
UCD Sutherland School of Law is pleased to announce the launch of the Declan McCourt Masters Scholarship in Law. The scholarship has been established with a €1m fund at UCD Foundation in honour of UCD alumnus, well-known businessman and chairman of the Law School’s Development Council, the late Declan McCourt.
The fund has been supported by UCD alumni and friends of the university, including US industrialist and philanthropist Mr Mark Pigott KBE.
Applications are currently being welcomed from final-year law students at the law school who are recipients of the UCD Cothrom na Féinne scholarship and/or the SUSI grant, and who have achieved an upper second-class honours average grade to date.
The awardee will receive the equivalent of the EU tuition fees of their one-year masters programme up to the value of €25,000.
