The past year has been particularly turbulent for students like Roisin. The difficulties the pandemic has inflicted on her as a student, perpetuated by her own job loss left Roisin with a substantial amount of financial stress and anxiety. The scholarship has provided Roisin with access to the supplies and resources she requires that were otherwise not accessible to her remotely.

Suffering from dyslexia and not having access to the facilities on campus was a huge barrier to Roisin’s learning. The scholarship hasn’t only provided Roisin with access to the necessary resources, it has provided her with a sense of security and confidence in her own abilities.
